What does Spam Squirrel do?

It scans your inbox headers, groups mail by sender, and shows you every sender that supports one-click unsubscribe. You choose keep or unsubscribe for each one, click Apply, and Spam Squirrel sends the unsubscribe requests and keeps a receipt for each.

Which email accounts are supported?

Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, and Microsoft 365 mailboxes via Microsoft sign-in; Gmail and Google Workspace via Google sign-in; and iCloud Mail via an app password. Yahoo Mail and AOL Mail are coming soon.

How is this different from clicking Unsubscribe myself?

Doing it by hand means opening each email, finding the link, and hoping the page works, one sender at a time. With hundreds of senders that is hours of clicking. Spam Squirrel handles them all in one pass, using the sender's own one-click mechanism, and records the sender's server response as proof. It is also safer: you don't open any unsubscribe links yourself, so a malicious or misleading link cannot lead you anywhere.

Does it read my email?

It reads message headers and sender addresses to decide what to do. Message bodies are not requested, read, or stored.

Will it unsubscribe me from things I want?

No. Every sender gets two choices, keep or unsubscribe, and nothing is sent until you click Apply. Senders without one-click unsubscribe default to keep receiving, and anything on your safe contacts list is left alone.

How much of my inbox does a scan cover?

Each scan reads the headers of your 500 most recent Inbox messages and groups them by sender. Scans cover your Inbox folder only; mail already in Junk, Spam, or Promotions isn't included. Senders that haven't mailed you recently won't appear until they send again, and every re-scan picks up new senders since your last visit. A deeper full-inbox scan is planned for a future release.

How much does it cost?

Your first 7 days are free and include 3 unsubscribes. After that it is $19.95 per month or $149 per year with unlimited unsubscribes, billed securely by card. A one-time Deep Clean is $34 for 14 days of unlimited unsubscribes with no subscription. Cancel anytime to stop future charges.

What is the refund policy?

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
